It supplies both PSTN gateway functions to support PRI and analog trunks and enterprise session border controllers (eSBC) for security and Quality of Service (QoS) management of VoIP services. The Ribbon Communications EdgeMarc 4806 Media Gateway provides 1 Gbps symmetric WAN connections with up to 500 concurrent calls, so these devices grow as your business grows.

The EdgeMarc Media Gateways are easily manageable and are controlled through the EdgeView Service Control Center. Service Providers have the ability to control and manage their devices all through the platform and resolve any problems that might occur, thus diminishing escalations and truck rolls. EdgeView also includes reporting tools and a menu-driven configuration and provisioning tool so you can set up the EdgeMarc 4806 within seconds.
